Mirage

WOW! I can't really believe this is true.

A mirage lasted for four hours off the coast of China last Sunday. You really have to see this to believe it. The mirage had images of a city complete with hi-rise buildings and city streets. AMAZING!!!

The coolest thing is that many mirages have been recorded in Penglai, on the tip of Shandong Peninsula, throughout history, which made it known as a dwelling place of the gods.

Frogs and Crickets

This cat spent three months alone in the Australian Outback, only to be awakened by "dingoes scratching at the rocks to try to get to me". That is pretty scary. Not only do you have to play real life Survivor, but you wake to wild animals attempting to devour your carcass underneath a piece of plastic, dirt, and rocks, and you don't know how you got there. Apparently someone thinks a hitchhiker he picked up drugged him and dumped him and made a makeshift attempt to dispose of the body. He left frogs out in the sun to make them "a bit crispy" when he ate them.

David Blaine

This dude is awesome. He hangs with celebrities and supermodels and pulls off some of the wackiest stunts known to man. Now he's going to live in an aquarium, with a nutrition tube. He almost died in the last block of ice, frozen in time trick.

The Dream

The Dream of actually "scoring" with a teacher in grade school was never a reality when I was a kid. Now a days, there's one like every other week. But this one was the one that really stuck out as being the hottest teacher. There were lurid details in the story and he had given prosecutors accounts of her private areas and what not. Now the point is moot. She blamed it on bipolar disorder. Dude, I know someone that has bipolar disorder, but they don't blame humping 14-year old boys on it.

She got off

The biker picture of her is from a Makes and Models magazine shoot. Awesome. Here's a Wikipedia entry, in case you have been living in a cave, which I have.

Buck Owens R.I.P.

This guy was a true legend. Anytime you have a type of music credited to you or where you live, I'd say you 've left your mark. The "Bakersfield Sound" was the his creation, but he'll probably be remembered for being the host of Hee-Haw. I never watched Hee-Haw very much, but there was a honky tonk bar (now I know it was the Cricket on the Hill) I used to go to in Denver, Colorado of all places and the band, led by Denver Joe and Uncle somebody used to play Buck Owens tunes, every tune, every time. He's say "Thi's an ol' Buck Owens tune"and get completely wasted on stage. They were awesome.

FEZ

It looks like FES from that horrible show has actually humped some hot chicks. He was on Howard Stern yesterday and told a bunch of stories about all the hot sluts he's had sex with. He detailed that Mandy Moore was a virgin when he slept with her, Jennifer Love Hewitt was an "eight" on a scale of ten, and that Ashlee Simpson is quite loud in bed. I love how people don't realize that FES stands for Foreign Exchange Student.

Mexican Coke

No, not that kind

Apparently, Coke is trying to say that there is no difference between the Coke sold in North America in cans and the Coke that says"Hecho in Mexico" in scratched up glass bottles. I beg to differ. The Mexican Coke is far superior. It tastes great and is even somewhat refreshing, opposed to the canned cokes in the U.S. that are way too syrupy and just make you more thirsty. Plus, they say that the Coke in the U.S. is made with corn syrup, and the mexican coke is made with sugar cane. You can taste the difference.

Hola amigos!

This is the initial foray into bloggerdom from the Cubanotron, right here in Austin, Texas.

This blog is going to cover a variety of items, including music, entertainment, sports, trivia, and genuinely interesting tidbits of fun. There should not be political discussions, unless there is nothing else to talk about. Political discussions are just budding flamewars.

Let the blogging begin!!!
